So I have decided I am going to do my offical weigh ins on Wed. I started this on a Wed (surgery I mean) so I think its a good day. So Im down 3lbs! So excited. I have never lost this much weight in my life. I am so excited how this is all going, I mean dont get me wrong, I have my days of doubt and what have I done, but the good days out weigh the bad!
Last night was a stress ful night of non eating! Once a week or so, a few of Howie and my friends meet up at a bar and talk, play some keno, etc. Well the place we went last night had $2 pizzas. Pizza is my trigger food. Old Tara could eat a whole one. New Tara not so much...hmm pizza=throw up=ruin band=no thanks! Anyways, everyone was eating pizza and drinking and I was good and had my water and just a nibble of the cheese off of Howies piece. I was really hungry but really proud of myself!

Lets get it started...
So this is my 1st post....I have been reading so many blogs since I was banded on Jan 6th that I wanted to join the fun! Anyways to be honest with you the blogs that I have read helped me so much in my post op. To read that someone else was going through or went through what I went through made me feel somewhat normal!
Anywyas I will tell you a little bit about me....Im a 27 year old living in Boston, I work in insurance, I am getting married in August!! Woo. I started my journey in December of 2008 and was banded on Wed Jan 6th at Boston Medical Center. My first week of post op was hard but reading the blogs helped!!
Today was my 1st day back at work since being banded. Some of my co workers know what I was doing and some dont. It was funny day as some people didnt know how to talk to me. I wanted to yell "Its the same Tara! Just lighter!!!" Anywasy I hope this will help me go through my journey and you will enjoy reading!
